Gents,
I have put APPro 1.0.4 firmware to my AP, and although I can access the telnet, the web interface always goes to an error page.
I guess that I have managed to enter the licensed non-free version of APPro.

Is there any way for me to reload the correct firmware again?

Thanks.
D.

If you have a serial console (TTL-RS-232 level converter), it is possible to upload the final free edition of that firmware.

There's another option, but we need some time to check our internal documents.

Thanks a lot for the reply!

I don't have the RS-232 TTL converter, but the good part is that busybox is visible from the Telnet.
If all else fails, it seems I'll have to take the protoboard and MAX232 :-)

For the sake of learning,I would appreciate this other option that you are referring to, which I can try myself...

Also there is an option for me to put the AP to the public IP so that you can access it.

In any case, your help is much appreciated.

I hope we will find the needed data (the magic password that activates the license).

BTW, instead of MAX232, you could use MC1489 from old multi I/O boards (no capacitors, just the chip).

I'd appreciate any news on this, since I have to give back the spare AP :-)
Thanks again.
